Announcement from SFI : New Features
SFI is pleased today to take the wraps off a slew of major new features and enhancements to the SFI Affiliate Center (www.sfimg.com)...starting with the new SFI FOCUS Program:
Focusing is a critical element in becoming successful. The fact is that for maximum success in SFI (or any business, for that matter), it's absolutely VITAL that you concentrate your efforts on a product or program in which you have a strong interest.
Studies in a variety of fields have borne out this common-sense wisdom: people just tend to perform better and increase their chances of success when doing something that interests them.
Until now, the SFI Affiliate Center layout made this approach difficult: Compensation details, training, marketing aids, and more were presented in generalized sections—a design that did not lend itself well to focusing on specific income or business-building strategies.
SFI's new Focus enhancments are designed to sweep away this clutter, letting you concentrate on the strategies, training, compensation plan details, and marketing aids most pertinent to YOUR specific business.
Starting today, all SFI affiliates will be able to choose the specific SFI product or program on which they want to focus.
At our new "Choose Your Focus" page (https://www.sfimg.com/Focus/showIndex.sfi), you will find a concise overview of each SFI opportunity. Each opportunity also includes a "learn more" link so you can "drill down" for more detailed information if desired.
Once you've chosen your focus, the SFI Affiliate Center will automatically customize itself around your choice. That is, products and programs you're not interested in will be downplayed, while the product/program you DID choose will be highlighted and emphasized for your convenience.
This new "Choose Your Focus" page will be especially key for new affiliates. As you may know, all new affiliates automatically are directed to the "Getting Started" page. Step 5 of Getting Started will now take new affiliates to the new Focus page.
This allows new affiliates to get a great overview of the different SFI opportunities available to them, and to choose the one that interests them the most.
Upon submitting their Focus choice, they are now presented with all the information, resources, and tools needed to get started immediately promoting their choice. Everything else is "faded into the background."
We believe this new feature will provide new SFI affiliates with a much clearer understanding of SFI, it will be less intimidating, and it will create faster and more activity from new affiliates.

Update on the SFI Card - Coming Soon!!
The SFI Cash Card is moving ahead toward its launch, but they are still awaiting some final bank approvals. You can find more info on the new SFI Cash Card here:

If you are a U.S. (United States) resident, you will be able to order an SFI Cash Card directly at the SFI Affiliate Store shortly. There will be a processing fee of $10.
INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATES: If you live outside of the United States, your card will be automatically issued as soon as you have accumulated $50 in commissions. That is, as soon as your total accumulated commissions reach $50, SFI will automatically send you your card. Your card will come to you pre-loaded with the balance of your account (a minimum of $40), minus a one-time fee of $10 for the cost of processing your card.
Once you receive your card, you can start using it immediately. And each month you generate commissions, SFI will automatically deposit your commission amount on to your card for instant access to your earnings—in your own currency—via an ATM machine. You will also, of course, be able to use the card like a credit card both offline and online (including at the SFI Affiliate Store).
If you are wondering why the rules/requirements for international affiliates are different...it is due to new goverment laws and bank restrictions imposed after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States.

Your card will come to you pre-loaded with the balance of your account (a minimum of $40), minus a one-time fee of $10 for the cost of processing your card.
Once you receive your card, you can start using it immediately. And each month you generate commissions, SFI will automatically deposit your commission amount on to your card for instant access to your earnings—in your own currency—via an ATM machine. You will also, of course, be able to use the card like a credit card both offline and online (including at the SFI Affiliate Store).
If you are wondering why the rules/requirements for international affiliates are different...it is due to new goverment laws and bank restrictions imposed after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States.

Looking For A Merchant Account?
I've just come across a new (well new to me anyway!) Merchant Account/Credit Card Processor called Advantage Processors (http://www.advantageprocessors.com) and, as I know that many of you are like me and always on the lookout for new methods of accepting payment, I thought I'd share this info with you.
Basically Advantage Processors provide low cost online credit card processing Merchant Accounts for both low risk and High Risk businesses. They claim that they can generally find a merchant account solution for almost anyone including adult/dating sites, legal gaming sites, debt/collection agencies, etc. If you're working from home and are looking for a solution to accepting payments by telephone/mail/online then I would check out their website for further details.

This link also includes a Tutorial for Merchant Account Processing which is interesting in itself as it includes such topics as how to get the best rates for credit card processing and tips on lowering Chargeback fees, so it's well worth taking a look just to pick up some useful information on the subject.
